1958 Land Rover Series 1, 107 Station Wagon

This vehicle is Left Hand Drive. Excellent vehicle from a dry climate so a great bulkhead and chassis. In fact much of the factory paint is still visible on the chassis. Body unrestored so it does have all of the usual wear and tear of a 63 year old Land Rover. The roof has had a hatch cut out, approximately 2x2 feet square - see photo - and the tropical skin has been removed.

I also have the rare folding centre seat and rear side facing seats. All correct drivetrain, four date matching wheels.

E vehicle ran fine when it went into my garage almost three years ago. Work completed over the last few years. New weather strip rubbers on alpine windows, side windows and rear windows. All new braking system to include hard pipes, soft pipes, wheel cylinders, Mintex front shoes and new front brake drums.

The brakes still need to be bled. New front springs (Jones Springs) and the whole suspension system is now Polybushed.

New UJ's front and rear. New long rear axle shaft from the club shop. New pedal shaft installed and new bushings in clutch and brake pedals. New flex fuel pipe from pump to carb.

New fuel pipe from filter to pump. Finally four new Cooper radials and new inner tubes just installed recently. The exhaust system looked nearly new when I got the Rover. I will no doubt have forgotten some things but as you can see all of the hard mechanical work has been done.
