1959 Land Rover Series 2 SWB 88 2.25L Petrol Tax & MOT Exempt New Paint New Roof

For Sale is my Land Rover Series. This is fitted with a superb chassis has no issues at all with the chassis.

New Soft Top Roof and Galvanised stick set. Fantastic looking Land Rover loads of original features brand new paint work. Engines runs and video shows me driving around - but has some issues see below. IT IS A GREAT LOOKING CAR. 90% Part restored just a few jobs all mentioned below.

NEW PARTS INCLUDE: PAINT, SOFT TOP ROOF, BATTERY, DISTRIBUTOR COMPLETE, PLUGS AND LEADS, NUMBER PLATES, REAR EXHAUST, KNOBS, FUEL PUMP, COIL, RAD PIPES, CLUTCH MASTER AND SLAVE CYLINDERS, BRAKE MASTER, BUMPER, TAILGATE HINDGES, FAN BELT, MIRRORS, FUEL LINE. This has a 2.25l Petrol engine fitted - starts easy and runs - HOWEVER ITS DOES RUN SMOKEY - SO IT IS POSSIBLE IT MAY NEED PISTON RINGS SORTING.

The gears are working but i have had issue with the clutch pedal and again this will need looking at. Lots of 1959 period features such as the wire steering wheel, screw open vents, gearbox tunnel inspection panel, round smiths heater. This car has NOT been MOTED and has NOT been used on the road at all by us.

The panel work is pretty good for a Series 2. The electrics need to be work on. Key works to start thats about it - some lights do work. OK but cracked 7.50 Tyres with plenty of tread.
