The Hand Brake Lever Assy has been completely disassembled and sandblasted, the handle has been powder-coated in semi-glossy black, the mechanical parts of the movement, the fixing bracket to the frame and bolts have been brushed and electrolytically galvanized, the plunger rod, the washer for plunger spring, the plunger spring and of course the plunger, have been chromed, obviously all the split pins have been made Brand New and galvanized, to protect this single component from rust and preserve it over the years. I note that being in any case an original component of the era, the rust may have superficially affected some parts, this obviously does not compromise the good functioning of the component, indeed it shows that it is really Genuine of the time.

After restoring every single component, the Hand Brake Lever Assy was reassembled and lubricated as can be seen in the photos, at every single point of movement to allow a perfect functioning as when it was new.
