Land rover series 3 1972 petrol

Thanks for looking at the listing. Please note i think this was converted into a station wagon and as such i have not listed it as one. I have owned this Landy for a few years now and done loads of work which is backed up with receipts. Good little project for someone to finish as it would benefit from a new head lining and wheels sand blasting etc. I have fitted so many new parts inc brake lines, cylinders, drums, shoes, shocks, rear springs, both front swivels and wheel bearings and inner axel bearings etc etc also done loads of welding including a new aft of the gearbox cross member and complete rear chassis section.

I have recently painted the blue part, Im no expert but it looks quite good, not touched the top yet. New radiator fresh oils etc. It is on the road and the engine is remarkably quite, but I have not stripped down the engine, gearbox or differentials so that may be the starting point for the next owner.

I also fitted a new door pillar to the drivers side, repaired both foot wells and fitted 2 new door tops and a new drivers door bottom. I have also replaced the under seat box for a new hand made alloy one and replaced both ends of the seat box with new alloy repair panels at the same time. I have priced it a lot less than some because I think at this price it gives the new owner the possibility of adding value and because I want to see it gone as I need the room in my workshop.
