Land Rover Series Vehicles Spare Wheel Carrier

This type of spare wheel carrier is riveted to the top of the bonnet. It is in good condition, however the original galvanising has. Deteriorated and has been over painted. The holes securing the carrier to the bonnet appear not to have been over drilled during removal.

The new securing bolts have new split pins fitted and they move freely on the nuts on the underside of the wheel carrier, being capable of being screwed right in until they run out of thread. The clamps are the ones with the longer legs ad are ideal for vehicles fitted with Long Wheel Base LWB wheels. The photos demonstrate the bolts being screwed down, and fully out.
