Land Rover Series Windscreen Clamps Series 2 (Pair)

These two Left and Right Hand Clamps were removed from scrapped vehicles many years ago. They are the earlier type with the wing nuts and were fitted to early Series 2 Land Rovers from 1958 until the turret type was used from??? They DO NOT fit the Series 1. Although they appear similar to Series 1 clamps with wing nuts, the Series 1 clamps have a slightly different bracket. Frequently the wing nuts on these clamps are seized, on these two they are not seized, and move freely on the screw thread on the cla mps.

The wing nuts appear to be no longer available as new items.
