LAND ROVER SERIES 3 109 2.25 CANVAS TOP EX MOD ONLY 28K MILES, ORIGINAL. This is an original 1980 commissioned EX MOD Land Rover with upgraded green top engine that saw service in Northern Ireland before spending the rest of its service at RAF Brize Norton. Lovely original condition inside and out with some good patina including signs of high viz paint on the front wings and radio comms wiring and rack still present. Also has an internal fuel tank as a legacy of its time in Northern Ireland. Has been recently fitted with a new Exmoor canvas hood and spare wheel cover as well as an Exmoor 80 inch bench seat in Galvanised Black Vinyl. It is painted in Infra red reflective green paint with some remaining hints at the high viz paint from its time with the RAF as well as altered rear lights for the same reason. Also added during its time were original Land Rover free wheel hubs and new wheels (see pictures). It also comes with full British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certification and MOD demob paperwork for added provenance.
